Early and Absentee Voting in Bernalillo County 

In-person Absentee voting has begun! You may vote early at the County Clerk's Annex on 1500 Lomas Blvd NW Suite A 87104 from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, October 8th through the 18th.

To vote absentee by mail, submit an Absentee Ballot Application online from the Secretary of State's website. Once your application is reviewed and accepted, your ballot will be mailed. After you receive your ballot, you must then return it to the Bernalillo County Clerk. The last day to request an Absentee Ballot Application is October 31, 2019.

Early Voting is available at 19 Early Voting Convenience Centers through the county (in blue on the map below). Locations within the City of Albuquerque are open 8am-8pm Monday through Saturday, October 19th through November 2nd. Anyone in the county may vote at ANY location.

Same-day Voter Registration

is now available for the first NM election ever!
If you missed the October 8th deadline to register to vote or update your registration, you can do so, and vote immediately afterward, at any Early Voting Convenience Center during Early Voting only (October 19th - November 2nd).


Election Day

Tuesday, November 5th is Election Day! Polls will be open 7am-7pm at 69 Voting Convenience Centers throughout the county (in orange on the map below). Anyone in the county may vote at ANY location.


There is one Early Voting Convenience Center in District 8, at Caracol Plaza, on the southwest corner of Tramway and Montgomery (12500 Montgomery Blvd NE, Suite 101, 87111). But you can vote at any location in the county!
